It has been a long time since I read a book that I couldn’t put down. I read the whole thing cover to cover in 5 days! The detailed character descriptions make it so easy to relate. The settings were expertly painted and made it so easy to become immersed in the story and forget my own surroundings.
If you love detailed historical fiction with lots of action and mystery, this book is for you. This book has it all from cozy small town vibes, big city hustle and bustle, exciting chases and detailed intimate moments, mystery and beauty all wrapped up in one neat little package. I personally felt inspired by the characters and found myself uplifted by their determination and ability to make it through difficult times together.
Daniel is a savant, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to another one from this brilliant new author!
